Made primarily in honor of the horse, the dog and the hawk for being our stalwart companions. Secondly, in respects to Archie Fisher, Stan Rogers and whomever may have originally written the song; for "Witch of the West-mer-lands."

The lyrics of said song tell the tale of a wounded knight who seeks out the Maid of the Winding Mere for aid. Along the way he is carried by his horse, given food by his good grey hawk and guarded by his brindled hounds.
